Starting from trading of molasses in 1974 he placed himself as an Industrialist by dint of his hard working, honesty and business foresight. He set up 2 unit Poultry & Cattle feed manufacturing Industry and 1 Unit floating fish feed plant, a big Parent Stock FARM and a Poultry Hatchery in Jaipurhat as the First Industry in this sector in North Bengal. Near about 100 regular, 200 casual workers and other Suppliers and service renderers are directly/ indirectly economically benefited in his Industry (s).

He is also playing a vital role in earning foreign currency by exporting Sugar Cane Molasses through his sister concern in the name and styled “ M/S ANWARUL HAQUE” since 1993. The permanent export structure which he has set up is unique in the country.

“The Arthakantha Best Business Award -2010″ for best agro based Industry was awarded to Mr. Momtaz Uddin Mondal for his contribution in the economic development of the Country. As an energetic man, Mr. Momtaj Uddin Mondal is steel working hard at his age of 66 years .
